Making 2021 My Slave
Does anyone here like setting New Year's Resolutions? I do. Pretty much every year, I reflect on the previous year's successes and failures with the new year's goals, then I write my goals for the coming year. So here we go! Let's get started.
So my 2020 goal was to publish six full-length books, and I surpassed that goal, and instead published eight! Woo hoo! Who does that? Surpassing a goal? Not to brag too much. :P I didn't experiment with AMS for technical difficulty reasons, but I did start using Facebook Ads, and guess what? They work! I will continue to experiment with them and ramp up the ad-spend over the next year. (I also want to add some other good things that happened in 2020: I started going to therapy for treating contamination OCD, I rekindled the relationship with one of my sisters, our daughter turned two, and we bought a house! All good, happy things, despite 2020 overall being kind of a drab.)
Anyway, my goal for 2021 is to publish twelve full-length books. I'm honestly not sure if this is going to happen, as I'm now publishing a book every thirty-three days, while writing four hours a day and still being a full-time mother to a feisty two-year-old, who is both highly independent and highly dependent. I'm already waking up at 4:45 AM each day to get in some writing and exercise, so I can't really wake up any earlier... Or can I? I honestly don't know how to add in any more writing time and keep my sanity in check.
We'll see if it happens. I won't punish myself if I don't make it. But I am so freaking excited about the stories that I have planned for you! Just to name a few: The Adler Brothers Series, my first duet (featuring Hades and Persephone!), another female-centered sisterhood type series, and an erotic horror retelling of a classic! I can't wait to share it all with you.
Thank you for sticking with me on this journey. Your support means the world to me.
